Faces of the Huon is a community arts project that aims to uncover and celebrate stories of diversity and harmony in the southernmost part of Tasmania.
Created for Harmony Week (15–21 March) as part of the Huon Beings digital arts program, the exhibition will be on show in the park beside the Huon Valley Visitor Centre at 23 Main Street Huonville for two weeks from Saturday 21 March.
“We were delighted to have Tasmania-based artist and photographer Andrew Wilson on board to capture these beautiful portraits and musings of six of our local residents, who come from a variety of backgrounds,” said Cr Enders. The exhibition opens on Saturday 21 March and will remain on show for four weeks.
