neemiuah teggana nire/Mother Heart Heal is a group exhibition in mobile exhibition space ARTBOX featuring artworks from Nuenonne, Melukerdee, Pinterraier and Lyluequonny women from Tasmania: Gemma O’Rourke (curator), Cassie Sullivan, Deb Cobern and Bron Dillon.
The exhibition explores how we can heal country through basket weaving, shell-stringing, contemporary art, and more.
Dates: 4–18 July 2021
Location: ARTBOX will be located in the Huon Valley Hub green space at 25 Main Street, Huonville and will continue inside the neighbouring indoor space.
The Hub indoor space will be open for the NAIDOC Week opening event at 2pm on Sunday 4 July and will be open to view the exhibition 10am to 4pm Monday to Friday.
