The Cygnet Cenotaph located on Mary Street, Cygnet is an important community focal point where large numbers of community members gather to commemorate services such as Anzac Day.
Many issues have been identified with the Cenotaph that need to be addressed including safe and good, all-ability access and seating for services. The guns located at the Cenotaph will be relocated to the Cygnet RSL Sub-branch building located at 80 Mary Street, Cygnet.
Council has consulted with the Cygnet RSL Sub-branch to identify these issues and develop the concept plan.
