The Tasmanian Government is developing a shared vision for kunanyi/Mount Wellington and Wellington Park.
kunanyi/Mount Wellington is a popular and beloved landmark for both Tasmanians and visitors. Wellington Park, where it’s located, offers great recreational, cultural, and environmental benefits.
However, the park’s popularity has raised concerns about funding, amenities, environmental and cultural issues, and infrastructure, including access. The Tasmanian Government knows there are challenges with the mountain and the park and wants to understand what needs to change to make Tasmania’s vision for the mountain a reality. To do this they want to hear from all Tasmanians.
