Huon Valley Council is pleased to announce the successful completion of the Geeveston Town Hall roof restoration project.

This important upgrade ensures the long-term preservation of one of Geeveston’s most iconic community buildings. The project involved a full roof refresh designed to strengthen the structure, protect it from the elements, and enhance its appearance, while maintaining the heritage character of the building.

The Town Hall plays a vital role in the life of the local community – as a visitor centre, gallery, event space and meeting point – and Council is committed to supporting its ongoing use and preservation.

We would like to thank the local contractors for their skilled workmanship and professionalism throughout the project. We also extend our sincere thanks to the Geeveston community for their patience during the construction period.

We invite you to visit the Town Hall and enjoy the refreshed look – a proud reminder of our shared commitment to caring for community spaces, both now and for future generations.
