Council would like to inform the community that, currently, there is no municipal inspector available. Consequently, Council has limited capacity in response to animal management enquiries. However, we are pleased to announce that a replacement municipal officer will be joining Council on 12 November 2024.
Until then, we will only respond to urgent matters, such as dog attacks, dogs at large, or traffic hazards caused by stock, which impose a significant risk to community safety or that of other animals.
Mayor Sally Doyle stated, “We understand the importance of animal management services to our community and are committed to ensuring that these services are reinstated as soon as possible. We appreciate your patience and cooperation during this transition period.”
