The Role
As the Recration Centre Officer you will:
- Ensure the safety of patrons by providing effective supervision and lifeguarding
- Undertake routine checks and basic maintenance of pool equipment
- Provide basic administrative assistance through processing charges and operating the kiosk
- Ensure the cleanliness of the centre
Skills & Experience
The successful applicant will have the following:
- A current Pool Lifeguard accreditation
- A current First Aid Certificate
- A current Working with Vulnerable People card
- A current National Police Certificate
- Demonstrated knowledge of sports centre and swimming pool operations.
- Strong communication skills, problem solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Commitment to upholding values of Safety, Integrity, Teamwork, Service Excellence and Continuous Improvement in all aspects of day-to-day operations
