- Starting wage $88,868.44 per annum
- On-call allowance paid in addition to the salary

The Role
As the Principal Resilience and Recovery you will:
- Work with communities across the Huon Valley to build resilience to future disasters
- Engage with community and stakeholders to build community resilience and enhance local networks
- Support local events and activities that enhance community networks
- Undertake the functions and powers of Municipal Recovery Coordinator
- Plan and manage evacuation centres and recovery centres
- Act as Deputy Municipal Emergency Management Coordinator
Skills & Experience
The successful applicant will have the following:
- Completion of relevant Diploma or Bachelor level qualification and/or relevant or transferrable extensive practical experience.
- Ability to work independently with a high level of maturity, discretion and judgment
- High-level oral and written communication skills
- knowledge of Asset Based Community Development
- Knowledge of Tasmanian emergency management arrangements
