The Role
As Senior Manager Development Services, you’ll lead a dynamic team delivering professional planning, development, and compliance services that shape our valley’s future. You’ll be instrumental in:
- Driving strategic development initiatives and implementing Council’s annual plans
- Leading complex planning, building, and compliance matters
- Managing key stakeholder relationships across government, development, and community sectors
- Overseeing the implementation of planning schemes and regulatory frameworks
- Building and mentoring high-performing teams
Skills & Experience
We’re seeking an experienced leader with:
- A qualification in Planning or related field, combined with extensive industry experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of planning and building legislation
- Proven leadership capabilities in managing teams and resources
- Outstanding strategic thinking and innovative problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills
- Track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment within set timeframes
