The Role

Join our aquatics team as the Team Leader Recreation Centres

You will:

  • Nurture and develop our talent pool, providing top-notch training and guidance to our Recreation Centre Officers and Swimming Instructors,
  • Dive into the future, planning strategic initiatives and tackling challenges to keep us making waves in the aquatics world,
  • Be a key player in our recreation services network, supporting your fellow Team Leaders at Port Huon Sports and Aquatic Centre and Cygnet Sports Centre,
  • Create a splash with your leadership, fostering a positive environment where safety, fun, and community spirit come together.

Skills & Experience

We’re looking for someone with:

  • A solid background in pool operations, whether that’s formal qualifications or hands-on experience, particularly with safety protocols and customer service
  • The ability to juggle multiple tasks, using your initiative and good judgment to keep everything running smoothly
  • A way with words and people that turns potential conflicts into positive experiences for everyone
  • A can-do attitude and leadership skills that inspire your team and keep patrons coming back for more
  • An eagle eye for safety, with a thorough understanding of Workplace Health and Safety legislation that you apply effortlessly in day-to-day operations
