Council has been advised by the Tasmanian Planning Commission (TPC) that the Huon Valley Local Provisions Schedule (LPS) will come into effect on Wednesday 4 September 2024.
This advice follows the direction given to Council by the TPC in July to move to the statewide Tasmanian Planning Scheme. The State Planning Provisions will also come into effect for the Huon Valley municipal area on the same day.
