The Huon Valley Council’s Parks and Reserves crews will be carrying out scheduled maintenance works on sporting grounds and parks over the next four weeks.
This will involve the changeover from winter to summer sports and the general upkeep of our parks and open spaces.
These works will include the use of tractors, rollers, and seeding and mowing equipment, and we will be using fertiliser and weed spray.
Council staff follow a strict code of practice for spraying in public places, as set out by the Department of Primary Industries, Parks, Water and Environment.
