Several trees have been damaged along the Port Huon Walking Track from the recent high winds.

Council’s Parks and Reserves team will be temporarily closing the track between Drysdale and Sacred Heart School on Wednesday 27 March 2024 from 7am to 2pm to make the area safe for track users.

Investigations revealed that two trees need to be removed. Their trunks will remain in place to maintain as much natural habitat as possible.

Please observe signage while we complete this work as quickly and safely as possible.
