Following the resignation of Councillor Cambers-Smith, Council has been informed by the
Tasmanian Electoral Commission (TEC) that the recount process will commence on Friday 9
August. The recount result is expected to be made public on Monday 19 August.
“We look forward to welcoming a new Councillor following the recount process,” said Huon
Valley Mayor Sally Doyle.
