Are you interested in seasonal work in the Huon Valley?

MADEC Australia is holding induction sessions where you can come along, find out about the opportunities available, and register your details to let growers know you are ready for work in orchards.

Huonville: Three sessions are being held on Wednesday 20 January at the Huonville Town Hall, starting at 10am, 12 noon and 2pm. See all sessions

Glenorchy: Two sessions are being held in at the Migrant Resource Centre in Glenorchy on 22 January and 29 January. For members of the migrant community only. See all sessions

Each one-hour session will include:

  • An induction video
  • Opportunity to register for work
  • Time for questions

Numbers are limited, so be sure to book!

To complete the registration process, you will need to bring proof of ID. Please bring along your photo ID (e.g. driver licence), as well as any additional forms as ID such as a Medicare card or bank card.

If you have a visa to stay and work in Tasmania, you must bring along your passport and visa to the session to complete your registration.

These sessions are COVID-safe events. Please help keep everyone safe by maintaining physical distancing (1.5m) and good personal hygiene.

Public transport (Huonville sessions)

Tassielink Transit provides bus services in the Huon Valley, with a stop in Huonville.
