As the year draws to a close, Mayor Sally Doyle and Councillors would like to extend their very best Christmas wishes to everyone in our community.

We encourage everyone to reach out to neighbours and friends, as small gestures of kindness can make a big difference in someone’s life.
If you’re traveling during the holidays, please prioritise safety. Plan your journey ahead of time, take regular breaks, and arrive safely at your destinations. Remember that our emergency service staff and many others continue working through the festive period to support our community and keep everyone safe.
This year has been one of positive change for Huon Valley Council, with new faces joining our team and fresh perspectives shaping our work. We’re proud of what we’ve achieved together and excited about the opportunities ahead in 2025.
